Prevent web images appearing in Google Maps
Sometimes, photos that were made available on the web might be automatically included in Google Maps, whether you want them to or not. Perhaps it’s from an old site, or an old page on a site that you’d forgotten about, perhaps it broke out of your web server and wandered up to the web itself in the middle of the night, knocked on the big Google Maps Unflattering Images Department door and said ‘let me in, let me in, I’ve a business owner to embarrass and quick..’ and the Google Gods obliged (they’re nice that way). Either way, if an image on your Google Maps listing has you screaming..
To prevent unwanted images from showing up in Google Maps, Local etc, try these..
Still no joy? Report a photo appearing on Google (Search, Maps etc)
If there’s still a photo showing up on Google Map or in Search results that should be removed and banished forever to the big Google bin in the sky, and you’ve tried the above, report a problem and let them know. Ask nicely. No screaming.
